Corporate Volunteer - Social Media and Marketing Specialist.

Specialisterne Australia is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to support our organisation as a part-time Corporate Volunteer specialising in Social Media and Marketing. This role is identified for a neurodivergent individual. Ideally you can commit to volunteering one day a week, or one day a fortnight for six months or longer.


Your expertise in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing will contribute to our overall success in raising awareness of our mission and creating real impact in creating change for neurodivergent individuals and building inclusive workplaces.


Create an impact in the following areas


Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Create and curate compelling content, including images, videos, and written posts, to effectively communicate our organisation's initiatives, events, and impact.

  • Utilise social media analytics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and optimise strategies for better reach and engagement.

Content Creation:

  • Collaborate with the Specialisterne team to develop engaging and relevant content for various marketing materials when required, including brochures, newsletters, blog posts, and press releases.

  • Support the team to create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and videos to effectively convey our organisation's message and attract attention across social media and other digital platforms.

  • Share insights on industry trends, best practices, and target audience preferences to ensure content remains innovative, up-to-date, and appealing.

Digital Marketing:

  • Support the team in designing and executing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.

  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on key metrics and objectives.

  • Share the latest digital marketing trends and tools, bringing innovative ideas to improve our online presence and audience engagement.

Who we are looking for:

  • A neurodivergent individual passionate about social impact and a strong commitment to our organisation's mission.

  • Proven experience in social media management and marketing, with a strong understanding of various social media platforms, trends, and analytics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for diverse audiences.

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools, video editing software, and content management systems.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, email marketing, and PPC advertising.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
